Each month, SOT provides an update on activities and events of importance to official SOT partners through the release of the “Around the World of Toxicology” blog. To further help inform the SOT membership of available opportunities and support global toxicology efforts, SOT is expanding the scope of this monthly series to include information from other toxicological societies and groups with whom SOT shares an affinity, although not official affiliation. To submit an event, opportunity, or information for consideration for inclusion in the monthly “Around the World of Toxicology” blog, complete the special submission form for “Around the World of Toxicology” items. Please note that only activities by societies and professional associations (i.e., nonprofits) will be considered. If you are an organization or company seeking to promote an event, please submit your activity to the SOT “Calendar of Events.”

EASL Congress 2023 | June 21–24, 2023 | Vienna, Austria
The European Association for the Study of the Liver (EASL) is hosting its annual Congress June 21 – 24, 2023, in Vienna, Austria. The late-breaking abstract submission site will open on April 12, and the early-bird registration deadline is April 17.

10th International Congress of Asian Society of Toxicology (ASIATOX-X) | July 17–20, 2023 | Taipei, Taiwan
The Toxicology Society of Taiwan is hosting ASIATOX-X at the National Taiwan University Hospital International Convention Center in Taipei, Taiwan, July 17–20, 2023. The Congress theme is “Sustainable Development Goals, SDGs in Toxicology.” The abstract submission deadline is March 31, and registration will open on March 1.

12th World Congress on Alternatives and Animal Use in the Life Sciences (WC12) | August 27–31, 2023 | Niagara Falls, Canada
Registration is opening this month for the WC12 that is being held August 27–31, 2023, in Niagara Falls, Canada. The theme for the Congress is “3Rs over the Edge: Regulatory Acceptance & Next-Gen Education.” The abstract submission deadline is February 20.
