The SOT Education and Experiential Opportunities Committee encourages outstanding doctoral students to pursue an internship in toxicology that advances their professional and scientific development. The 2026 SOT Annual Business Meeting will be held virtually on March 3, 2026, 11:00 am to 12:30 pm (US EST, UTC -5). Register now. I required an   additional   six months to complete the   article   dissertation submissions necessary for my doctoral degree; however, I lacked the necessary funding. My late thesis advisor, Dr. Thomas G. Akers, promptly reached out to an individual whose name   remains   unknown to me, who without hesitation generously donated $5,000 to support my writing efforts.
